Why We Take Donations:
Triangle Special Hockey Association (TSHA) is 100% volunteer run, no paid directors or employees.
TSHA was formed to allow special needs children and adults the opportunity to play ice hockey. We want this program to have minimal financial impact on the family. We also want the parents to be able to sit in the stands and enjoy their children playing a sport. Hence we need financial donations as well as time commitments from volunteers and mentors. The following is a list of of items we need in order to achieve these goals:
Time commitments from volunteers, mentors and coaches.
Money Donations for the following:
- Equipment (see our Sponsor a Skater Program)
- Coach / Mentor equipment including skates, helmets, clothing and coaching supplies (see our Sponsor the Coaches / Mentors Program)
- Ice time rental
- Association costs including organizational fees, bank fees, advertising and general office supplies.
- Travel Costs to the annual tournament
including transportation, lodging and
expenses.
Annual Banquet
Equipment Donations gently
used we are in desperate need of the
following:
Adult size skates
Helmets all sizes with cages
Gently used hockey equipment all sizes (until we get all our skaters sponsored)
Ice Time, with ice time as precious as it is this may be the most critical. Consider donating some of your teams ice time, we will take what we can get.
