2010 / 2011 Season
Erik Cole and his Dream Big Foundation Support TSHAErik Cole hosted Triangle Special Hockey's Sled Team on Dec 2nd. Eric got in a sled and had an assist and a goal. Afterwards Erik and Dream Big's president Kevin C. Caraccioli hosted the players and invited guests to lunch, followed by a news conference. Erik presented TSHA's president with a $5000 check to purchase sleds and hockey equipment. It was an exciting day for the players and TSHA staff. We would like to thank Mr. Cole and his Dream Big Foundation for the much needed support. Go Canes Go Cat5 Canes!
As "The Heart of the Carolina Hurricanes," the Kids 'N Community Foundation offers programming assistance and financial funds to assist local area youth organizations. TSHA benefited from their generosity, receiving a grant that will help cover a operating costs for the upcoming season. Thank you Carolina Hurricanes and the Kids 'N Community Foundation.

Bank. RBC bank has contributed to TSHA to help defer the costs

Cat5 Canes Sled Team Looking "Sharp"
David Laszlo of
ProSharp Skate Services
will be sharpening the Sled's steel this season. David runs his operation out of the IcePlex.

Two local hockey shops partnered with TSHA to provide discounted and donated equipment to get our 4th season kicked off. Five Hole Sports in Cary and Play It Again Sports in Cary continue to be TSHA's preferred equipment providers. TSHA provides all the equipment needed for the players to get on the ice. Our partners generosity and sense of community ease the financial burden allowing more funds for ice time.

their fund raising efforts during the 2009-2010 Hurricanes season. Clare
Cook, President of CHBC, presented a check to TSHA which will allow us
to purchase jerseys for the players and coaches.

2010-2011 Season Started for TSHA Raleigh, Sept 19th at the
IcePlex
The 4th season of Triangle Special Hockey will
start Sept 19th. This year we will have two ice slots, one for the A/B
Special Hockey skaters and one slot split for Sled and C learn to play
Special Hockey. We are officially kicking off the first sled team in
North Carolina.

Mike and Maria of Bella Italia Wake Forest Donate all the Food for the TSHA Banquet.TSHA thanks Mike and Maria of Bella Italia Pizzeria in Wake Forest for donating the entire banquet meal. 130+ friends and family enjoyed some of the the finest Italian cuisine in the Triangle Saturday night at our annual banquet. TSHA was interviewed by Ken Smith of WRAL. Click here for the video TSHA supplies volunteers to the Hurricanes to help run the Lawn Parties before a select number of home games. In return TSHA is allocated space to set up our table. Opening day of the season WRAL was onsite and interviewed TSHA President JV Cotterell, TSHA Head Coach Kevin Lilley and TSHA Player Tyler Cotterell.
